I would recommend this charger to anyone in need of a high quality charger. It charges AA and AAA with no problems. This is a great battery charger. I have used to to charge SONY batteries as well as other brands.
Not much to say about it other then it does what its suppose to do. This device is great and also charges fast.
Just leave the door open when charging to prevent overheating batteries which is alleged to shorten their life. Good for top up of partially depleted batteries. Charger design is very neat and easy to use. Like the way the power pins on the back fold flat for storage / transportation.
The batteries are terrible. I recently purchased a Canon a720is digital camera. What a waste of money. Supposedly with a full charge, they last about 10 minutes in my camera. I also purchased the Sony Quick Battery Charger with 4 batteries and purchased an additional 4 batteries based on the good reviews. This was at the end of November.
I quite enjoy the slim nature of the charger too, as it fits nicely in my camera bag. I usually charge the batteries overnight, and the charger turns itself off when it has completed the charge. I bought this battery charger for the flash on my scuba diving camera. There is no extra cords or adapters to worry about. I would definitely recommend this product. I have used this charger in roughly 6 different Caribbean countries over the past 3 years and haven't had a problem yet. During the charge process the batteries do become a bit hot, but most battery chargers have this affect on rechargeables.
